The sprint will be held on the beach that runs parallel to the
Evertsen Boulevard between Brasserie BLVD and Pier 7 Beach Pavilion.

The Dutchie Beach Sprint is a visual spectacle with flying sand and a unique
historic atmosphere. We are therefore incredibly proud to welcome journalists, photographers and
to be able to welcome content creators from all over Europe to the beach of Vlissingen.
Photographing in style: Our dress code
To preserve the unique, timeless atmosphere of the event, we apply a special
rule. We expect everyone who is granted access to the press areas to
adapt to the historic clothing style (pre-war style).
No modern brightly coloured coats or casual wear, but clothing that suits the
1930s and 1940s. This completes the picture for the riders and the public, but
also ensures that you as a photographer or journalist truly become part of this
unique world. It also makes the experience very 'different' for yourself!

- What do you state? Clearly state which medium you work for (or your portfolio as a freelance photographer) and what your plans are.
- And then? We assess all applications carefully and you will hear from us as soon as possible.

What are the criteria for participants in the Sprint?
The criteria are set out on the participant registration form.
Broadly speaking, only motorcycles and cars from before 1949 are permitted.
What if I am not selected to participate in the sprints?
Only 100 cars and 30 motorcycles will be allowed on the beach for the sprints.
It is of course a shame if you were not selected. But we have a part on the
saved a space for you on the beach so you can still be there! So you are always welcome
so that you can experience the atmosphere and be part of the Dutchie Beach Sprint!
What is the deadline for registration?
For all sprint participants, a deadline of 20 March 2027 applies.
Is it possible to come to the Dutchie Beach Sprint with my hot rod/prewar or special?
Of course! There is even the possibility for 100 owners of truly exceptional cars
to buy a one- or two-day ticket for Saturday 15 May and Sunday 16 May that allows
you can park on the Boulevard Evertsen.
You are then truly in the spotlight and have a view of the Dutchie Beach Sprint.
A two-day ticket costs €110 including two tickets for the Dutchie Beach Sprint.
Is there a campsite for the sprint participants?
There is an option running for just 50 participants at campsite……….
What is the dress code?
Beach racers are ‘different’. They always walk around with a smile on their face and are therefore
not afraid to dress in ‘prewar style’. Just take a look at the photos on this site.
This also applies to visitors, photographers and the press. That is precisely what makes the Dutchie Beach Sprint so special.
Can I buy sandwiches and drinks on the beach?
Yes, that is possible. There will be several food trucks at the sprint area on Saturday and Sunday.
When is the MOT test?
The roadworthiness test of all cars and motorcycles and the registration of all
sprint participants takes place on Friday afternoon 14 May at the Bellamypark in the
the centre of Vlissingen.
All participants will gather there from 12.00 pm onwards with their unique specialities.
That’s where it all begins!
What’s the situation with plastic on the beach, actually?
It is precisely the participants who expect every visitor to [pick up] every scrap of paper,
every piece of plastic, every bag, every cup and every packaging either taken home
take or put in the bins provided.
That way it stays fun for everyone and next year we can enjoy the
Dutchie Beach Sprint. We owe it to ourselves – and to the natural environment on the beach!
Am I allowed to take photos at the sprint track?
Taking press photographs at the sprint venue is only permitted for accredited
photographers. This is partly due to safety concerns.
Applications must be submitted using the standard application form.
How much does a ticket cost to get onto the beach to see the sprint up close?
A ticket for an adult costs €21.50 per day.
Order before 21 April, and you will pay €18.50.
Tickets for children under 12 cost €12.50.
There are a limited number of tickets available!

The sprint will take place on the beach that runs parallel to Boulevard Evertsen
between Brasserie BLVD and Strandpaviljoen Pier 7.
Where can I park as a visitor?
The council will install signs indicating where you can park.
